35 weeks and counting!!

I went to the doctor today and so far I haven't dilated at all. It is funny to think how worried we were about me going into preterm labor and now I'm thinking I might go all the way to 40 weeks LOL. The doctor said that after this week it will be okay for me to have the baby anytime. I can't wait until our sweet little angel gets here!! A few weeks ago, the doctor said he thought she was on her way to being 8lbs!! So we think she is going to be a little chunk LOL. I just pray that she is healthy. I go back to the doctor next Tuesday and I am hoping for a little change, but Lydia might have her own little plan LOL. School also starts back next week. Hannah will be in second grade and Caleb will be starting kindergarten!! I can't believe how fast time flies by! My babies are growing up and while I am excited to watch them learn new things and become more and more independent, it makes me sad to know that they will be grown in the blink of an eye. I wish I could just make time stand still and keep them little forever! Well I better get back to work, but I will post again soon!!

Catching up!

Wow, it has been a while since I have posted. We have lots of catching up to do!! A lot has happened over the last couple of weeks. The first and most important piece of news I want to share is that my precious Hannah has accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. She was saved at VBS on Thursday 6/11/09. We talked with Bro. John a little more this past Sunday and she will be baptized on Father's Day. Todd and I are so excited for our little angel. Hannah is thrilled. She just grins from ear to ear and talks about how excited she is all the time. I don't think Todd could have asked for a sweeter Father's Day gift than to see his little girl be baptized!! It just fills my heart with joy!! Second part of my news is that I am now 28 weeks pregnant!! It won't be much longer until we welcome Lydia Elizabeth, the fifth addition to our family, into the world! I can't wait to meet her, hold her and kiss her. We are in the process of getting everything ready. I have ordered her crib and I already have her bedding. My baby shower is in less than two weeks and I am so happy to get together with my friends and family. Things are wonderful right now and I will try to keep you posted a little better. I have to go but I will post again soon.

Women of Joy!

This weekend I went with a group of women from my family and Church to the "Women of Joy" conference in Sevierville, Tn. We had a wonderful time! We heard from some amazing speakers including: Kirk Cameron, Priscilla Shirer, and Carol Kent. They were all so good and they each had some very powerful messages. The last night we were there Casting Crowns performed and it was so great! We just had a blast spending time together and worshiping together. We came back VERY early yesterday morning to get home in time for Graduation Sunday at our Church. My brother is graduating High School this year, so we couldn't miss it!! I knew that I might get a little teary eyed, but much to my surprise tears just started pouring down my face when we watched the slide show of all the youth from their baby pictures to their graduation pictures. I felt like a big baby, but I just couldn't control it LOL. Maybe it was just overwhelming emotions from the whole weekend and that video just pushed them to the breaking point LOL. I am so proud of my brother. He plans to attend college for EMT Paramedics this fall. I pray that he will stick with it and get through school because it is so important to have a college degree. He is such a wonderful person and I know he will do great things! Well, I guess that is all for now.

Boy or Girl?!

My doctors appt. went great yesterday. The baby is growing bigger and bigger! I had my ultrasound yesterday and it is just so amazing to watch as the baby kicks and flips. I thought that the baby was a boy and Todd kept saying girl. Well, my wonderful hubby was right!! It's a GIRL!! We are so excited! We can't wait to meet our new little girl! I can't wait to start dressing her up in dresses, bows, and frilly socks YAY! We are so thankful that God has blessed us with such a wonderful family. I couldn't ask for anything more!! Well, I have to get to work now. I will post again soon!

Beautiful Weekend!

This weekend was so pretty! I just wanted to stay outside the whole time. Saturday, Caleb had ball practice. It was a lot of fun. His coach was bragging on what a good little ball player he is. I love being at the ball park with my family watching my little slugger. Sunday, we had Hannah and Logan's birthday party at the park. It went really well. All the kids had a good time playing. Hannah got a lot of really cute clothes. She was so excited. It was a wonderful weekend. I can't wait until it gets a little warmer so we can open the pool at my mom and dad's house! Today, I am four months pregnant!! The baby is the size of an avocado this week and should be hitting a growth spurt soon! I have started feeling the baby move a little more over the last couple of days. It is such an amazing experience when you feel your baby move inside you. We go back to the doctor on April 9th to find out if the baby is a boy or a girl!! I can't wait! Well, I better get back to work.

My little Apple!

This week, the baby is the size of an apple! I went to the doc today and they said everything is looking great so far. He said the baby is growing well, but you can pretty much figure that out by just looking at me LOL. My belly is getting pretty far out there. I will be Sixteen weeks on Monday. I can't believe I am already this far along. It is flying by! I go back to the doctor on April 9th for my ultrasound! I can't wait to find out what we are having so I can start shopping and really planning for my new little one! It will be so nice to have a precious baby in the house again. Hannah is already seven and Caleb will be five and starting kindergarten in August. Time goes by so fast. God has truly blessed me with a wonderful family. I have the most wonderful husband. I don't know how he puts up with my crazy mood swings lately, but somehow he does. I don't remember ever being as emotional and having as many mood swings with either of my other pregnancies. It's like I just can't control it at all. I thank God that I have a husband who loves me anyway in spite of my mental breakdowns LOL. Well, I better get back to work, but I will be sure to post after my ultrasound!!
